Terumo Aortic is currently recruiting for a Compliance Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting new role within our Compliance department as we continue to grow during a phase of investment and expansion. Key Responsibilities:
1. Grant Committee Support: Review applications, interact with applicants, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with MedTech Europe Transparency Reporting.
2. HCP Contract Administration: Draft and execute agreements, maintain the engagement database, track activities and payments, and manage contract signatures and templates.
3. Compliance Program Implementation: Support testing, monitoring, and reporting to demonstrate program effectiveness.
4. Third Party Management: Assist with due diligence reviews and approvals.
5. General Compliance Activities: Perform various compliance-related tasks as needed.
6. Management of HCP Processes: Oversee consultancy agreements, manage templates, and facilitate signatures.
7. Medical Educational Grants and Donations: Review applications, manage contracts, and maintain transparency reports.
8. Testing & Monitoring: Conduct reports, investigations, and corrective actions; maintain logs and training.
9. Policy Implementation: Roll out policies and SOPs, conduct training, and evaluate effectiveness.
10. Third Party Risk Management: Support compliance reviews and approvals.
11. Internal Audits and Committees: Participate in cross-functional groups and committees.
12. Key Relationships: Collaborate with management, legal, sales, marketing, procurement, R&D, clinical teams across the US and Europe.
Candidate Profile:
* Adaptable and dependable in a dynamic environment.
* University degree required; Law degree preferred.
* Minimum five years in compliance or auditing.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
* Advanced degree or compliance certification is a plus.
* Ethical, practical, and risk-aware approach to compliance.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
* Excellent planning, organization, and quality control abilities.
