The role of Bank Project Worker will include:
1. Providing support to encourage our customers with a range of learning disabilities to maximise their own potential and independence
2. Offering one-to-one support as required
3. Promoting safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customers’ needs
4. Regularly assessing the needs of customers, writing, and updating support plans
5. Developing professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
6. Delivery of small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
Skills and experiences:
7. Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities or high needs
8. The ability to relate and empathise with people with physical/learning disabilities
9. Ability to work effectively in highly pressured situations
10. Experience with developing and maintaining accurate records and support plans
11. Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications
12. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards is desirable
