About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administrator to support the effective delivery of our supported accommodation services.
This is a key role within the organisation, ensuring accurate data collection, compliance documentation, and smooth day-to-day administrative operations. The successful candidate will understand the supported living environment and be confident liaising with multiple external agencies and professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately collect, input, and maintain service user and property data on internal systems and databases.
* Ensure records are up-to-date, compliant, and maintained in line with GDPR and organisational standards.
* Provide general administrative support including filing, scanning, document management, and correspondence.
* Support the monitoring of compliance documentation (e.g., tenancy agreements, risk assessments, property certifications).
* Prepare reports and data returns for management, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
* Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
* Liaise with external agencies including local authorities, housing benefit departments, social workers, healthcare professionals, and other partner organisations.
* Support appointment scheduling and coordination of meetings.
* Assist with maintaining property and service user documentation.
* Support audit preparation and regulatory inspections where required.
Requirements
Essential:
* Previous administrative experience (ideally within housing, supported living, social care, or a related sector).
* Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and in accordance with GDPR.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confidence communicating with a range of professionals and external agencies.
Desirable:
* Knowledge or experience of supported accommodation or supported living services.
* Understanding of housing compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Experience using case management or housing management systems.
* Awareness of safeguarding principles in adult services.
