My client is a light commercial vehicle dealership who are looking to recruit a Parts Advisor. Heathrow / Hounslow area.
Salary 28k plus 4k bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm plus every other Saturday morning.
Working within a busy department, you will be focused on delivering a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority will be to maintain a high level of service to the Workshop to ensure Technicians remain productive, and to attend to Retail counter customers.
Parts Advisor Role:
You will be working with a close who are thoroughly committed to deliver an excellent Parts service.
You will need to be a strong all-rounder and understand all aspects of a parts dept. From goods-in processes, parts identification, order processes, perpetual stock checking, stock rotation, parts returns and liaising with Service over parts related matters
You will be customer focused, and able to prioritise your workload to ensure your meet Trade customer’s expectations
You have a good technical / mechanical understanding to aide your parts identification / up-sell technique
About You:
You will ideally have Parts experience within a Commercial / Automotive / Engineering environment
This is a hands-on role, you will be liaising with all departments
Preferably, but not essential, you will have experience with Kerridge / ADP/ CDG
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and working as part of a team
To have a good working knowledge of parts identification, Parts dept. processes, Goods-in etc
Full Clean Driving Licence
