Contract Project Manager – Water (Non-Infrastructure)
Guildford | £475 per day | Long-Term Framework
A Tier One contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support increased workload across a major water framework in the South East.
You will take ownership of multiple non-infrastructure schemes delivered within live operational environments, typically involving treatment works, pumping stations, and MEICA-led asset upgrades. This is a delivery-focused role with real responsibility, not a support position, suited to someone comfortable managing projects from early planning through to completion.
The framework itself is well established, with a strong pipeline of secured work, making this a role with genuine longevity beyond the initial six-month term.
The Role
Full lifecycle project delivery across capital maintenance schemes
Management of programme, commercial performance, and risk
Coordination of design, procurement, and site teams
Driving health & safety and ensuring CDM compliance
Maintaining strong relationships with client and key stakeholders
Leading projects in live environments where planning and communication are critical
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience delivering projects within the UK water sector
Strong background in non-infrastructure works such as MEICA, refurbishments, or plant upgrades
Working knowledge of NEC contracts
Confident managing multiple schemes concurrently
A structured, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
The Details
Office and site presence across the Guildford region
£475 per day
Initial 6-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
Immediate need due to secured framework workload
This role will suit a Project Manager who values stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver technically meaningful projects within a mature delivery team.
