Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Solution Consultant (FP&A Software). The Solution Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their FP&A and operational planning needs, translate requirements into solution designs, and configure modern planning and reporting tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions, preparing and delivering product demonstrations, building proof-of-concept models, and supporting presales activities with the sales team. The role also involves leading or supporting implementation projects, coordinating with technical teams, documenting requirements and configurations, and training end users. The Solution Consultant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine best practices, contribute to product and process improvements, and help ensure successful client outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modelling, data interpretation, and problem-solving within FP&A or related functions.
  • Consulting experience, with the ability to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Presales and sales support skills, including conducting discovery calls, delivering software demonstrations, and contributing to proposals.
  • Project management capabilities, such as planning tasks, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring quality delivery.
  • Experience with FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or corporate performance management tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Planful, or similar) is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and adapt to evolving client requirements and technologies.
