This is a brilliant opportunity for a Chef de Partie who loves fresh ingredients, enjoys the pace of a quality led kitchen and wants to grow under the guidance of an experienced Head Chef and senior team.
Chef de Partie Ideal Profile:
Genuinely passionate about food, ingredients and seasonal cooking
Confident working on a busy section in a quality focused kitchen
Strong basic kitchen skills including preparation, cooking and knife work
Good understanding of food safety and health and safety in a professional kitchen
Calm and organised under pressure with a positive attitude to service
Supportive team player who can guide junior chefs and work closely with senior chefs
Chef de Partie Responsibilities:
Run an allocated section to a high standard during prep and service
Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with agreed specifications and standards
Support the development of menus by contributing ideas and feedback
Always maintain excellent food quality and consistency for all guests
Train, support and delegate tasks to Commis Chefs and apprentices on your section
Keep your section clean, organised and fully stocked in line with food safety guidelines
