On-Site IT Support EngineerWalsall£30,000-32,000 (Depending on experience)

REED Technology are recruiting on behalf of an organisation seeking a proactive and customer-focused On-Site IT Support Engineer (1st/2nd line) to join their dedicated IT Services team based in Walsall.This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you’ll provide both remote and onsite support across multiple office locations in the UK. You’ll be involved in a broad range of duties from desktop support and network troubleshooting to hardware configuration and infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver remote and onsite 1st/2nd line support to end users across UK offices.
2. Carry out proactive site visits to maintain and improve local IT infrastructure.
3. Configure, install and maintain desktops, laptops, switches, routers, printers, and firewalls.
4. Assist with network cabling and general infrastructure tasks.
5. Provide peripheral and mobile device support including telephony systems.
6. Manage hardware deliveries, storage, and disposal in accordance with company procedures.
7. Perform PC imaging, equipment repairs, and device recycling tasks.
8. Maintain accurate records of incidents, assets, and service requests via the service management tool.
9. Administer user accounts and security access using Microsoft Active Directory.
