Waking Night Female Support Worker – Bracebridge Heath Make a real difference in someone’s night – and their life. We’re looking for a warm, patient and dedicated Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our small, friendly care team supporting a young woman who lives with her family in Bracebridge Heath. She’s bright, funny, and full of personality – she loves Ant & Dec, The Wiggles, and all things girlie. While she has complex clinical needs, these don’t define her. What matters most is her joy, comfort, and the companionship you’ll bring to each night. About the Role You’ll provide calm, consistent overnight support – ensuring she feels safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night. This includes: Monitoring health and clinical equipment. Supporting her personal care and positioning. Administering medication and managing specialist equipment such as PEG/JEJ feeding, suction, and ventilation. Offering emotional reassurance and ensuring restful nights for her and peace of mind for her family. Every shift is about creating a nurturing, dignified environment where she can rest well and feel supported. Pay: Monday–Friday Nights: £14.50/hour & Weekend Nights: £15.00/hour Shift Pattern: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 9:00pm – 8:00am Monday and Wednesday: 9:00pm – 9:00am What We’re Looking For You’ll be someone who naturally puts others at ease — thoughtful, reliable, and able to bring kindness into every moment. Essential: Previous care experience. A gentle, empathetic nature and genuine compassion. Beneficial (but full training can be provided): Experience in complex care such as PEG feeding, suctioning, ventilation, or medication administration. We’ll provide full clinical training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in every aspect of the role.
