What you'll do at Elekta We're seeking a passionate Real Time Software Developer to join our innovative team, this role will contributing to the development of a Control System that meets the performance requirements of our visionary systems. You'll actively debug on real hardware, maintaining and enhancing software quality metrics through thorough testing at every level of the V model. The Software Engineer will develop Control Systems and related applications for our Radiotherapy systems, ensuring the safe delivery of radiation beams for patient treatment. As part of the Agile spirit, active participation in a scrum team is expected, fostering a culture of collaboration and support. This role involves continuous improvement through training, staying updated on industry trends, and contributing to safety awareness, including safety analysis and hazard mitigation strategies. This person will also be expected to build strong relationships within the team, share knowledge, and actively contribute to process improvements, shaping the team's dynamic ways of working. Fluent in English with strong communication skill C/C++ Embedded or Real Time Environments Unit testing Object Oriented design Effective problem-solving skills Structured and professional approach to engineering Knowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques Understanding and experience of Agile.
