We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships and Media Coordinator to support our growing podcast and media initiatives on a part-time basis.
This role will focus on building relationships, coordinating podcast guests, supporting partnerships, and helping manage media content. The position involves working closely with the team behind Just Briefly, a video podcast that interviews senior lawyers and legal leaders about their careers, expertise, and insights from the top of the legal profession.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Outreach and Relationship Management:
* Research and identify potential podcast guests, including partners, senior lawyers, and industry leaders
* Conduct outreach and manage communication with prospective guests
* Coordinate scheduling and manage the podcast guest pipeline
* Maintain relationships with guests and industry contacts
Strategic Partnerships:
* Identify opportunities to collaborate with law firms, legal organisations, and industry groups
* Support partnership initiatives that expand the reach of the podcast and related media projects
* Coordinate communication with partner organisations and contributors
Media and Content Coordination:
* Assist with preparing podcast guests ahead of recording
* Edit short video clips and highlights from podcast recordings for LinkedIn and social media
* Help prepare and organise promotional content around podcast episodes
* Support wider media and brand initiatives
Event and Project Coordination:
* Assist with coordinating podcast recordings and guest logistics
* Support organisation of media appearances, events, and collaborations
* Help manage timelines and project deliverables across media initiatives
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
* Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
* A confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior professionals
* Proactive and able to work independently
* Interested in media, storytelling, and the legal industry
* Experienced in project or event coordination
* Comfortable with basic video editing tools (such as CapCut, Veed, Premiere Pro, or similar) to prepare short clips for social media
* Experience in legal journalism, legal media, or the legal industry is a plus.
Working Arrangement:
* Part-time (a few days per week)
