Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Planning and coordinating support for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support plans are implemented effectively.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
Providing guidance and support to families and caregivers.
Staying updated on changes in SEND legislation and best practices.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in planning support for young people, particularly those with SEND.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage with young people, families, and professionals.
Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation and its practical applications.
A minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant field.
