Fulfilment Coordinator
Location: Wetherby (Hybrid – 1–2 days WFH)
Salary: £35,000 starting salary
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday, full-time
Travel: Regular travel to warehouse site in Seaham, travel expenses covered (once a fortnight)
About the Business
Our client is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider delivering e‑commerce fulfilment services to retail brands. Headquartered in the US, the business has an established international presence and is now expanding its UK operation.
This role offers the opportunity to join the UK business at an early stage and play a key part in supporting both clients and warehouse operations as the site scales.
The Role
The Fulfilment Coordinator will act as the link between customers and the fulfilment operation, ensuring orders, day-to-day requests, and operational changes are delivered accurately and on time.
This is a varied, hands-on role that requires previous experience specifically within a fulfilment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Operational Coordination
* Act as a day-to-day point of contact for fulfilment customers
* Manage client queries, updates, and requests via email and phone
* Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Fulfilment Operations Support
* Support inbound stock, storage, picking, packing, and despatch activities
* Monitor order flow from e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) through to despatch
* Liaise with parcel carriers such as Royal Mail, Evri, and DPD
* Support promotions, volume changes, and new product launches
Issue Resolution
* Identify and investigate fulfilment-related issues
* Work with warehouse and internal teams to resolve problems quickly
* Provide clear and timely updates to customers
Continuous Improvement
* Maintain accurate records within internal systems
* Identify recurring fulfilment issues and support process improvements
* Build a strong understanding of the end-to-end fulfilment operation
Required Experience & Skills
Essential
* Previous experience working within a fulfilment environment (3PL or in-house)
* Background in fulfilment coordination, fulfilment customer service, or 3PL account support
* Strong understanding of pick, pack, despatch, and inventory processes
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
* Willing and able to travel regularly to the warehouse site
Desirable
* Experience using WMS or fulfilment systems
* Exposure to e-commerce fulfilment operations
* Knowledge of UK parcel carriers and service levels
