As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents. This includes assisting with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and helping with meals.
Providing care that comes from the heart, our goal is to ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality. You will be involved in general activities within the care home, supporting residents with limited mobility, offering emotional support to distressed or confused residents, or providing end-of-life care, always prioritizing their wellbeing.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. It is important that you can recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
