Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Southminster, Essex Pay Range: Competitive Contract Type: Perm My client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join its growing Quality Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in maintaining and enhancing a robust Quality Management System across the full product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities –Quality Engineer Act as the main point of contact for Quality Assurance, working closely with internal teams and customers. Support validation and verification activities, ensuring inspection criteria and quality controls are defined and met. Assist in the creation and maintenance of product Technical Files in line with regulatory requirements. Lead problem-solving and change management activities, driving continuous improvement. Support internal and supplier audits, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively. Promote a strong culture of quality across the business through coaching and training. Qualifications & Requirements – Quality Engineer Experience in a regulated industry (medical devices, automotive, aerospace or similar). Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO9001, ISO13485, MDD/MDR, CFR Part 820 & ISO14971. Strong problem-solving skills with experience using tools such as FMEA, RCA, CAPA, 8D or APQP. Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills. A qualification in engineering or a related technical discipline.
