Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a QA to join their Technical team. The ideal candidate has worked in a food manufacturing environment within a Quality Assurance role.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Support site compliance with food safety, quality and customer technical standards across shift operations
* Monitor and communicate site performance relating to non-conformances, complaints, GMP and hygiene standards
* Assist with managing food safety and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
* Deliver site inductions, training and coaching aligned with policies, procedures and work instructions
* Coordinate non-conformance actions and ensure completion within agreed timelines
* Support internal audits and verification activities aligned to the Food Safety Management System
* Ensure environmental, raw material and finished product sampling is completed in line with schedules
* Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audit readiness and compliance standards
* Promote a strong right-first-time and GMP culture across production teams

* Salary: £34,785.22
* Shift Pattern: Panama Days (12-hour shifts)
