We’re looking for enthusiastic Play Leaders to support an exciting Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) programme at an amazing primary school in the NG7 area of Nottingham.
This is a great opportunity for university students or anyone passionate about child development, play, or education. You’ll help make playtimes more creative, inclusive, and fun every day!

About the Role
* Hours: 11:30am – 1:30pm, weekdays (term time only)
* Lead and supervise outdoor play sessions as part of the school’s OPAL initiative, which encourages children to explore, create, and play through imaginative, active, and child-led experiences.
* Support children in developing confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through play.
* Work alongside school staff to set up play zones, ensure safety, and make playtime a highlight of the school day.
* Training provided – no prior OPAL experience required!

What We’re Looking For
* Energetic, reliable, and confident working with children
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm for outdoor learning
* DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can assist)
* Experience with children (paid or voluntary) is beneficial but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
