Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being. This position requires strong management and leadership skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents. The Level 3 Practitioner will work closely with colleagues to create a nurturing environment that fosters early childhood education.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality childcare and early education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Supervise and support children's learning and development through engaging activities.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication.
* Assist in the management of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage children's growth in all areas of development.
* Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's progress, documenting findings accurately.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery procedures.
Experience
* Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is required.
* DBS enrolment service is required to be undertook by candidate
* Paediatric first aid certification is preferred
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Experience in planning educational activities tailored to children's needs.
* A valid driving licence is desirable for potential transport duties related to outings or activities.
