Position/Title: Data Quality Senior Manager - Business Intelligence
About OpenConnect: OpenConnect is a bespoke team within GroupM, created to support BT Group in the UK. The team comprises over 100 specialists in media, data, and technology, managing over £150m of media billings for BT Group's consumer and business divisions. You will experience the Broadband, Mobile, and TV markets and contribute to award-winning campaigns. Practice Summary:
The Business Intelligence team provides actionable insights to drive business decisions. We specialize in data collection, analysis, and visualization, ensuring data accuracy and reliability across all media campaigns. We are the guardians of data quality, maintaining data integrity and enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Position Summary:
Our client requires reliable data provisioning and campaign reporting. The Data Quality Senior Manager ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of campaign and tracking data across various media platforms and data warehouses. Your role involves collecting, dashboarding, monitoring, and analyzing critical datasets, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to flag discrepancies and ensure adherence to EEu2019s data taxonomy and naming conventions.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Collect relevant data points from media platforms and data warehouses, leveraging automation where possible.
2. Build and maintain API pipelines for data transfer as needed.
3. Create and maintain dashboards to monitor:
* Media campaign tracking metrics (web, app, offline, and server-side conversions)
* Adherence to EEu2019s data taxonomy and naming conventions within media platforms
1. Analyze data within dashboards to identify anomalies and discrepancies.
2. Flag discrepancies to relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
3. Collaborate with OpenConnect and client teams to resolve discrepancies.
4. Create, present, and maintain documentation related to EEu2019s data quality principles and requirements.
Required Platform and Coding Skills:
* Proficiency with dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Looker, or Power BI.
* SQL for data querying and manipulation.
* Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
* Experience coding in Python or JavaScript.
* Experience with BigQuery or similar cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
* Experience with Google Marketing Platform, social media ad managers (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit), and mobile measurement partners.
Required Soft Skills:
* Excellent problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve data quality issues.
* Strong understanding of data concepts and principles.
* Analytical mindset to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to create presentations in slides or documents.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Required Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years in a data quality, data analysis, or business intelligence role.
* Proven understanding of the media landscape.
