As Head of Spanish, you will ensure this continues, and that students understand the importance of Spanish in the global community.You will be responsible for teaching Spanish to students of all age ranges from 11 – 18 and will equip students with sound linguistic skills through challenging and differentiated lessons.Leading by example, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the department and inspire and motivate a team of subject specialists through your own passion for the subject.You will also be working closely with the Head of MFL to embed the MFL department vision and development plan and will contribute effectively to the MFL calendar and running of trips, such as organising and leading regular trips to Spain.The ability to teach Spanish across the full range of KS3, KS4 and KS5 is essential.About the SchoolFounded in 1880 by the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the UK’s leading network of independent girls’ schools, Blackheath High School is a selective school for girls aged 3–18.
