About Elevate K9
Elevate K9 delivers premium, personalised dog training and walking services across Berkshire and Surrey. With a strong focus on structured enrichment, behavioural support, and owner engagement, the team specialises in working with dogs of all temperaments—including reactive and anxious dogs.
Our approach combines:
* Structured group walks and one-to-one training walks
* Day-care services offering multiple walks per day with training, enrichment, and correct socialisation built in
* Group neutrality classes focusing on calm engagement and impulse control in controlled, real-world scenarios
The Role: Structured Dog Walker (Sub-Contractor)
Location & Schedule
Operating across Berkshire and Surrey, serving areas like Arborfield, Wokingham, Ascot, Bracknell and surrounding areas. Flexibility required to coordinate schedules across these locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct structured group and solo walks promoting loose lead walking, recall, impulse control, focus training, and engagement games
* Reinforce training techniques and behaviour plans established by Elevate K9, ensuring consistency for each dog
* Provide clients with regular, meaningful feedback—both written and video—to drive progress and owner engagement
* Uphold a nurturing, calm, and professional approach during all interactions—prioritising each dog's mental, physical, and emotional fulfilment
Requirements
* Genuine love for dogs and strong understanding of canine behaviour, especially reactive or anxious dogs
* Experience delivering structured training walks and reinforcing established training methods
* Available to operate as a self-employed sub-contractor, managing your own schedule and compliance
* Own van required (or commitment to acquire one before starting)—to transport dogs safely across multi-dog walks and between locations
* Excellent communication skills, both with dog owners and the Elevate K9 team
