We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Drama Teacher to join a respected secondary school in Birmingham from January. This is a full-time, permanent position, teaching Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE & A-Level Drama / Theatre Studies. About the Role You will be joining a well-established Performing Arts department where Drama is a popular and well-supported subject. The school’s purpose-built Performing Arts Centre includes two dedicated drama studios, an ensemble room, full blackout capability, lighting rigs, and strong acoustic separation between performance spaces. Classes are kept to manageable sizes to allow individual focus, and you’ll have the chance to lead or contribute to extra-curricular drama productions and school events. Candidate Profile We are looking for a teacher who: Holds QTS, PGCE, or equivalent qualification Has strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Drama / Theatre Studies Is comfortable teaching GCSE and/or A-Level (or willing to develop into it) Demonstrates creativity, organisation, and a commitment to student progress Has the legal right to work in the UK The School This school serves a large and diverse student body of nearly 2,000 pupils (ages 11–19).
