We're seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a brand new nursery in Gerrards Cross. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who's ready to take on more responsibility, support the Nursery Manager, and make a real impact in a vibrant, child-centred setting.
In this role, you'll be central to the day-to-day operations-leading by example, motivating your team, and ensuring the highest standards of care and early education. From compliance and curriculum delivery to staff development and parent partnerships, you'll help shape a positive and purposeful learning environment.
Your Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Development
* Support, mentor, and inspire a passionate team
* Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews
Operational Excellence
* Help manage the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
* Maintain outstanding care, safety, and compliance standards
* Step in confidently to lead in the Manager's absence
Admin & Financial Oversight
* Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and fee management
* Monitor targets and KPIs to ensure nursery success
Family & Community Engagement
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers
* Ensure families feel informed, involved, and supported
Culture & Wellbeing
* Promote a positive, professional, and caring culture
* Champion staff wellbeing and encourage ongoing development

You'll Bring
* Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years
* Experience as a Room Leader or Deputy Manager
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards
* Confident leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A hands-on, proactive approach and a passion for early years education
