Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Team Leader with Preston area
The salary for this role goes up to £37,402.40, and works on a 2 on 3 off rota.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Care:
1. Assist the Managers in the implementation of the philosophies and policies of the organisation.
2. Assist the Managers in ensuring that each young person has their needs met through
effective assessment and care planning. Review and monitor care plans. /contribute to review reports as directed
3. Support and participate in young people's social, life-long learning plans and recreational activities in line with care plans, trips out and holidays.
4. Act as a Key worker to specified individual young person, taking on responsibility for specified areas of care and support. This includes ensuring all medical needs are met and supporting the young person to advocate his/her own needs and wishes.
Required
5. Proven ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team
6. Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to people with emotional and challenging behaviours and/or learning difficulties;
7. A commitment to a service which provides support to vulnerable individuals, and which is respectful and according to the individuals' wishes
8. Good communication skills (written and verbal).
9. Ability to communicate effectively with young people, colleagues, family members, Managers and other persons with a legitimate interest in the project
10. Commitment to training and development
