To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities
 * Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
 * You will be the home’s nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills.
 * You will focus on residents with complex needs, ensuring compliance with the latest guidelines, taking far‑reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance, while regularly auditing practices and procedures.
 * Care plan development and assessments.
 * Look after all residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care.
Preferred Skills & Experience
 * Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
 * The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent care.
 * Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
 * The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
 * Good clinical skills.
 * Promote ownership of care programmes by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programmes within the home.
Benefits
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP50,000 per annum. This permanent full‑time role is 40 hours a week, working through the days.
