Job Title: Jig Shop Worker Location: East Hull Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 5:45 PM Pay Rate: £14.44 per hour (paid weekly) About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Jig Shop Worker to join a busy manufacturing team. This role involves working with jigs and fixtures to assemble components accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities: Assembly Work: Use jigs and templates to assemble frames, panels, and structural components. Ensure all parts are aligned and secured according to specifications. Quality Control: Check measurements and tolerances to maintain high standards. Report any defects or issues promptly. Tool & Equipment Handling: Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely. Maintain jigs and fixtures in good working condition. Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all site safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Keep the work area clean and organized. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to meet production targets. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (caravan or similar industry preferred). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Understanding of health and safety practices. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
