This is an exciting opportunity for you to join Westmorland and Furness Council as a Regulatory Services Assistant within our Public Protection Service. Currently you will be focusing on supporting the work of the Private Water Supplies officers in the Environmental Protection Team.
In this role you will help us to keep our communities safe through supporting the public protection service, assisting officers on appropriate inspections of local businesses, activities and residential premises and providing technical and administrative support for the service.
You'll be joining a dedicated and experienced team where you will be managing your own caseload. Working in Public Protection at Westmorland and Furness Council is both varied and challenging; no two days are the same.

Who we are looking for…
We are looking for candidates who have some experience of working in a customer focused, service delivery role and good administrative skills. In addition, candidates should possess the ability to be accurate, detailed and professional in their approach to work. You will have a proven ability to deliver high standards and good customer service, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong ICT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
