Social Worker – Fostering Recruitment Team
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join Southend-on-Sea City Council's Fostering Recruitment Team, supporting the recruitment, assessment and supervision of foster carers to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
* Recruit, assess, train, supervise and support foster carers
* Manage a capped caseload of up to 6 Form F assessments
* Complete clear, evidence-based assessments and action plans
* Provide professional support to children, young people, birth families and foster carers
* Apply a holistic, restorative practice approach to fostering work
Requirements
* Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England
* Completion of ASYE
* Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience within Fostering
* Sound knowledge of relevant fostering legislation and regulations
* Strong assessment skills and ability to support and guide foster carers
