Overview
We are seeking to appoint a part‑time receptionist to join the busy reception team. Based in the school visitor reception office you will provide a first point of contact for parents and visitors in person and by phone and email. The reception team also provides assistance to students in some areas. In addition, you will provide general administrative support to assist the smooth running of the school. Our reception can be a very busy environment and the ideal candidate needs to be organised and able to work under pressure. You will need to be a good communicator with excellent customer service skills and a firm, calm and approachable manner.
Responsibilities
* Provide first point of contact for parents and visitors in person, by phone and email.
* Work at the school visitor reception office and support students in some areas as required.
* Provide general administrative support to assist the smooth running of the school.
* Work in a busy reception environment, being organised and able to work under pressure.
* Communicate effectively with excellent customer service skills in a calm and approachable manner.
* Be flexible and willing to undertake any administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications/Experience
* Flexible approach to working and willingness to take on various administrative tasks.
* Excellent secretarial skills and competent IT user.
* Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
