Shop Manager – Full Time
Hours: 45 hours across 5 days per week.
Pay: £32,944 – £46,483 per annum.

Responsibilities
* Lead by example and get involved in the day‑to‑day tasks of running one of our busy shops.
* Motivate and inspire the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent service to customers.
* Recruit, induct and develop the team through coaching, mentoring and feedback, building a talent pipeline for the business.
* Ensure customers are well looked after, deliveries are processed quickly and shop routines maintain a safe, clean, tidy shop.
* Control key shop costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll, to achieve all KPIs, reporting directly to the area manager.
* Meet standards in customer service, cash handling, health & safety, stock management, merchandising and presentation.
Qualifications
* A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate people in a busy, challenging environment.
* A people person who builds strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small team setting.
* Experience as a manager or assistant manager.
* A full driving licence is desirable; lack of one does not disqualify applicants.
