 
        
        Are you a qualified teacher looking to take a step into a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role? We’re looking for experienced professionals to join schools in the Reading area, making a real difference in pupils’ learning and development.
What you’ll do as an HLTA:
 * Teach whole classes and deliver planned lessons, sometimes at short notice
 * Lead and support other adults in the classroom
 * Manage behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional needs
 * Work with small groups or 1:1 to deliver interventions and ensure progress
 * Prepare resources, assist with administration, and supervise activities including playtimes
 * Maintain records, report concerns, and liaise closely with teachers
What we’re looking for:
 * Qualified teacher or applicant who holds a Degree
 * Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs
 * Knowledge of the National Curriculum, strong observation, and assessment skills
 * Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
 * Calm, adaptable, caring, and flexible attitude with a sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
