Onsite: Monday – Thursday
Core hours: 07:15 – 17:00
Role may involve shift work, including:
* Days: 07:15 – 17:00 (Mon–Thurs)
* Nights: 16:00 – 02:00 (Mon–Thurs)
BAE Systems is seeking a Mechanical Mechanic to support F-35 aircraft maintenance activities. Reporting to the F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Manager, you will undertake a range of maintenance tasks on F-35 aircraft and/or aircraft components in line with approved technical information and organisational procedures.
Skills:
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within EASA/MRP Part 145.
* Experience working on complex military aircraft programmes
* Minimum City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance (or equivalent)
The Job
* Carry out aircraft and component maintenance in accordance with Approved Technical Information, risk assessments and the organisation's MOE.
* Complete maintenance instructions and schedules for planned and unplanned tasks.
* Perform tasks including inspections, repairs, modifications, fault rectification, component removal/replacement and functional/system testing.
* Ensure all work is correctly documented and that airworthiness records are maintained.
* Compile reports, identify issues and escalate where required.
* Comply with all company procedures, standards and safety requirements.
Clearance Eligibility: Full SC subject / ITAR
