Main duties of the job
We are looking for a nurse with an interest in developing their contraception and sexual health skills. You will work in a dynamic team in Truro and the surrounding county of Cornwall, and will be self‑motivated to develop specialist skills to provide sexual health and contraceptive care. You will work effectively as part of a clinical team to deliver high‑quality services to clients, by providing contraception and sexual health services to young people in line with excellent clinical practice. You will undertake practical training and theoretical study (from a Brook approved course provider) to become a CASH Health Nurse upon completion.
* Vaginal examination skills
* Cervical screening skills
* UK driver’s licence and access to a car
* Current Nurse and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered Nurse (Part 1 of the NMC register)
Contract details
Hours: Part‑time 15 hours per week (may consider more for the right candidate). After completing probation you will be eligible to join our 4‑Day Week programme, allowing you to work 20% fewer hours without a decrease in salary. Contract: Permanent. Location: Brook Cornwall.

This role requires the successful applicant to undertake an enhanced DBS check. Candidates must be able to provide paperwork demonstrating their right to work in the UK.
