Due to a full order book Nomadic Construction ( ) are looking for skilled working foremen to join our team and work on projects across South Cheshire and the Northwest. You must be a team player with the ability to lead, who is proactive and polite with a can do attitude; our projects are often high profile and attention to detail is key.
Main Job Role
* To lead onsite teams in the construction of bespoke building projects
* Liaising with clients, architects and various professional trades
* To undertake, as and when required, joinery work associated with major and minor construction work
* To repair and maintain doors, door frames, windows etc.
* To undertake all works as necessary in the installation of flooring, roofing, skirting, ceilings and general construction
* To construct as and when required cupboards, shelving, fencing, carcassing, simple formwork and pitched erection of roof trusses and flat roofing construction etc.
Essential Skills & Criteria
* Man management and site organization
* Punctuality
* Ability to read architects and structural drawings
* you must have your own tools
– you must be qualified and have completed an appropriate apprenticeship
– you should hold a CSCS card
– experienced in this type of job role
– requisite knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
– to demonstrate knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations for this role
– to be friendly, approachable, polite and presentable
– to understand and deliver good customer service
– good attention to detail
– to demonstrate good time management and project management skills
Hours of Work: 8:00am to 5:00pm with extra hours available.
