The Role
Can you build rapport quickly with genuine empathy? Are you adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment? We enable you to assess and diagnose more people using our model, with the ability to also offer exceptional post-diagnostic care.
We are hiring ADHD Assessors to help us reach and support more patients, exercising autonomous professional responsibility for diagnostic decisions within your competence and ethics, using a multidisciplinary approach with supervision from Team Leads.
You Will
* Assess adults and young people for ADHD, considering differential and co-occurring conditions, and make diagnostic decisions based on your clinical judgment and experience to determine appropriate treatment plans.
* Access regular clinical supervision, management supervision, NMP supervision, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
* Ensure the client’s interests are fully considered within their treatment plan, promoting ethical, shared decision-making with all parties involved.
* Maintain accurate and timely client records on the clinical platform. Write professional reports within expected timeframes. Complete risk assessments and review safeguarding needs during ongoing care.
* Recommend additional assessments or interventions as needed, and include these in your reports.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on developing ADHD pathways.
* Provide training and consultation to staff to develop skills in this area of expertise.
* Maintain registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC).
What We Are Looking For
* Current NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
* Registered nurse or allied health professional with experience in assessing and diagnosing ADHD independently.
* Knowledge of ADHD treatments and relevant screening tools (e.g., DIVA, ADHD-RS, Conners).
* Excellent communication skills and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
* Ability to work effectively, accurately, and efficiently to manage caseloads.
* Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, research, and developments related to ADHD.
* Experience working with both children, young people, and adults with ADHD is preferred.
