My client was founded over 25 years ago as a family-run business and has since grown into an industry-recognized heat transfer fluid expert. As the home of global leading brands, their aim is to be the number one choice for heat transfer solutions by offering expert support and professionalism to meet clients’ expectations. Due to growth, they are looking to add 2 Senior Field Project Engineers to their team, working across the UK and Ireland. With further expansion planned, this is an exciting opportunity for experienced Senior Project Engineers to join and contribute to their success story.
**This is a field-based role**
Senior Field Project Engineer
Location: Swansea (HQ)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE) plus benefits including company medical plan, pension scheme, company van, fuel card, company credit card, overnight bonus & food allowance, and 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Carrying out system flushing according to BSRIA BG29 and BG50 guidelines.
* Conducting pre-commissioning of closed-loop heating and chilled water systems.
* Performing chemical dosing.
* Monitoring and sampling for laboratory analysis.
* Reviewing lab results and recommending treatment methods.
* Liaising with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
* Assisting in system troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting project completion.
* Maintaining accurate work records and documentation of chemicals used.
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong engineering knowledge in mechanical, chemical, and electrical/industrial disciplines.
* Knowledge of plumbing and water treatment systems.
* Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
* Strong IT skills.
* Experience in writing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Knowledge of chemical dosing systems and corrosion chemistry is beneficial.
* Awareness of BSRIA BG29 & BG50 guidelines.
* Physical fitness to handle field-based tasks.
* Understanding of project management processes.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to lead and support teams.
* Good time management and organizational skills.
* Willingness to work away from home.
* Full clean UK driving license.
* Willing to undertake a DBS check as required.
