Requirements
* Degree/diploma in Radiography or equivalent is essential
* 3 years post-qualification experience
* Min 1 year experience in Nuclear Medicine
* All candidates must be registered with HCPC
* Up to date Immunisation records to complete a full occupational health review
* Ability to build rapport
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective time management and prioritisation skills
* Ability to work in fast paced user-centric environment
* Candidates will be subject to enhanced vetting including an enhanced Access NI check and compliance due to the nature of this work
Responsibilities:
* Perform and assist in a broad range of work activities associated with the use of radioactive substances in the investigation and treatment of patients
* The performance of radionuclide imaging and organ uptake measurements (including non-routine and complex investigations), and the quantitative analysis of image data
* Preparation of data for clinical reporting
* The performance of in-vitro studies including GFR tests and the quantitative analysis of the data
* Be familiar with, and adhere to, the SOR and HPC codes of professional conduct
* Deliver a service, which meets all organisational and professional responsibilities
* Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of radiography specifically within nuclear medicine
* Communicate effectively with patients and ensure there is an understanding of their condition
* Promote and support effective team working, fostering a culture of openness and transparency
* Support the service's leadership team as required
