Overview
TieTalent in Northampton, England, United Kingdom is seeking an experienced and qualified Lead Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis to work at the head site, leading and supporting engineering processes and maintenance of the manufacturing site. This role offers scope for progression, including a potential step up to Engineering Manager in the future. The role is hands-on within the factory rather than desk-based.
Salary: £50,000 - £58,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 10am-6pm (some flexibility available)
Location: Northampton

Duties & Responsibilities
* Engineering team management
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* Mechanical maintenance and servicing
* Working with hydraulic equipment
* Electrical maintenance and servicing
* Experience with electro-mechanical systems
* Coordinating engineering processes
* Health & Safety of engineering processes
* Coordinate and execute planned maintenance
* Manage cost and achieve performance within budget
* Minimise downtime and ensure smooth running
* Attend daily meetings onsite
Required Experience
* Proven experience within an industrial environment
* Experience within process or production engineering
* Electrical knowledge and experience
* Engineering IT competencies including SAP
* Health & Safety knowledge
* People management skills and leadership
* Project management
* Strong problem solving abilities
* Must have an analytical mind
* Engineering qualifications
