Duties:
Respond independently to roadside breakdown assistance requests across Bristol and nationwide.
Diagnose and repair a diverse range of vehicle types, from small city cars to 4x4s, as a Roadside Vehicle Technician.
Conduct mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repairs within your scope of expertise, fulfilling the duties of a Breakdown Repair Technician.
Manage workload efficiently, accurate in record-keeping and reporting.
Provide excellent customer service, supporting clients in distressing situations as a Mobile Roadside Mechanic.
Work a flexible 40-hour week, with shifts between 6:00am and 2:00am.
Receive your work roster 7-14 days in advance, with core hours confirmed three days prior.
Travel out of your designated area for up to four weeks per year, with all associated costs covered.
Candidate Specification:
Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Demonstrable mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience working on various vehicle models.
UK driving licence with minimal points.
Self-motivated, methodical, and highly organised, capable of fulfilling the responsibilities of a Roadside Emergency Vehicle Technician.
Friendly, calm, and charismatic personality with strong communication skills suitable for a Roadside Assistance Operative role.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and environments.
Willingness to work across different locations within the UK as required.
