Job Title: Community Family Support Worker Location: Widnes/Liverpool Salary: £26-£27K Hours: Full-time e.g. 36 hours per week Contract: Permanent About the Role In this role, you’ll work directly in the community and in people’s homes, helping families overcome challenges, strengthen relationships, and access essential services. You’ll play a vital part in improving outcomes for children and helping families lead safer, healthier lives Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support for families in need of practical or emotional help Work collaboratively with schools, social care, health services, and voluntary sector partners Identify needs and create tailored support plans for families Help families access community resources and services Support children and young people’s development, wellbeing, and school attendance Maintain accurate case notes and attend relevant meetings About You: You have experience working with children, young people, or families You’re empathetic, a great listener, and calm under pressure You understand safeguarding and confidentiality You’re organized, reliable, and confident working independently A driving license and access to a vehicle is a plus!
