Transport Administrator – near Coatbridge - Maternity Cover
Role Purpose:
To provide administrative support to the transport department on a maternity cover basis, ensuring the smooth coordination of trucks and other forms of transportation in and out of a busy site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Schedule and organise vehicles and other transportation in and out of the site
* Maintain accurate transport and vehicle records (logs, mileage, maintenance)
* Prepare and process delivery notes, manifests, and transport documents
* Monitor fleet compliance and maintenance
* Update internal systems with transport data and job statuses
* Support with reporting and other general administrative tasks
Skills & Experience:
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Good communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office / transport software preferred)
* Experience using CYMAN system would be ideal BUT not essential
* Experience in transport, logistics, or a similar admin role is an advantage
Rotating Shift Patterns:
* 4 days on/4 days off - 0600to1800 /1800 to 0600
