Position Role : Management of pan-Defence future fleet design, equipment liability and determination of Land Fleet Requirements for the Land Environment. Responsibilities : 1. Cap & Acq lead in Army StratCen, provides eqpt KSEB and pan-Defence fleet design and Land eqpt management to optimise fighting power 2. Manages a small team with significant outputs which maintains an unbiased view which outweighs individual Service considerations 3. Provides the primary StratCen POC for all equipment issues from Ministerial through oTLB to other Directorates and HQ Fd Army 4. Determines the Land Fleet Requirements for all eqpt in accordance with strategic direction, ensuring that fleet numbers remain efficient 5. Maintains Land Fleet Risk Register to quantify risks induced by fleet numbers to inform Cap Audit, BOI and strategic decision making 6. Provides holistic E-DLoD view in support of estimates incl WAVELL, Cdo Force, Future Air, RAPSTONE, and the SDR proposition 7. Provides Eqpt DLoD SQEP into the Army Command Plan and Future Force Design. Chairs Defence Strategic Land Eqpt Management WG. 8. Manages and delivers pan-Defence direction on behalf of ACGS, including Land Environment Platform Framework and ACSO 4532.
