<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>EDF UK is looking for a student to join the in‑house Digital & Content team on a one‑year Creative Content Industrial Placement (start 1 September 2026). The placement focuses on motion design, animation and digital storytelling across web, social media, intranet and internal publications, supporting the company’s Net Zero mission.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Create motion graphics, animated explainers and short‑form video content for internal and external campaigns.</li><li>Support the production of social‑first animations and video edits designed to drive engagement.</li><li>Work with designers and producers to translate static assets into motion‑based outputs.</li><li>Assist in the development of storyboards, visual concepts and animation styles.</li><li>Contribute to video shoots and post‑production editing, including sound, colour grading and motion overlays.</li><li>Learn how motion and animation play a key role in corporate storytelling and brand communication.</li><li>Experience working in a fast‑paced in‑house creative team across video, motion design, graphic design and digital content.</li><li>Gain an understanding of how motion‑led content enhances communication effectiveness across channels.</li><li>Develop stakeholder management skills by working with various business units and senior leaders.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>On track to achieve (or have achieved) a 2:2 degree in a relevant discipline such as motion graphics, animation, video production, graphic design or digital media.</li><li>Passionate about animation, motion design and visual storytelling.</li><li>Proficient in (or developing proficiency with) After Effects (essential), Premiere Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop.</li><li>Knowledge of additional animation or 3D tools is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Able to think creatively about communicating ideas through movement and interaction, not just static visuals.</li><li>Keen to learn and develop in a high‑performing corporate creative environment.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>Starting salary of £26,000, a market‑leading pension scheme and a range of benefits covering formal and personal needs.
