Our commitment also includes maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both our team members and visitors.\nThe team is growing and that’s why we are now recruiting for an Receptionist to support this busy team.\nThe role – what you’ll be doing\nAs an Receptionist your role is hugely important and will include:\nProvide a first-class Reception service as the first point of contact for visitors to Border to Coast.\nAct as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.\nManagement of the meeting room suite to ensure smooth running of internal and external meetings from a logistics perspective.\nManage the meeting room system, ensuring correct availability and required resources available at all times.\nLiaise with external suppliers to provide catering for visitors and colleagues when required.\nAdminister postal and delivery services.\nBook and arrange travel, transport and accommodation on request and manage subsequent expenses when required.\nAssist in booking external meeting rooms where needed.\nSupport the management of all aspects of relationship with external building facilities management company.\nLiaise with colleagues and suppliers as required.\nSupport the Business Support Manager with Office Management processes.\nMaintain office systems, including team data management, filing and archiving.\nLiaise with Finance colleagues to raise purchase orders when required.\nAct as a brand ambassador and professional representative, to support the organisation of business events and conferences.\nPerform ad hoc duties as required in line with the needs of the business.\nFire Warden duties including contribution to risk assessments.\nFirst aider\nIdentify risks in own area of responsibility, recognise risks in all areas of the business and notify any such risks to your People Manager and the Operational Risk Manager\nAbout you - and the value you’ll bring to our team\nYou’ll have previous experience managing a busy reception.\nYou’ll have experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.\nYou’ll have excellent IT skills and a strong attention to detail.\nYou have experience gained in a fast-paced environment in the delivery of high quality support and administrative activities.\nYou’ll be willing to work flexibly and adapt to change positively in a fast-moving environment.\nYou can demonstrate planning, organisation, time and data management and administrative capabilities and have good communication skills.\nYou’re a pro-active, self-motivated team player with the ability to manage an interesting and variable workload and be willing to assist and support other team members when required.\nYou’ll be able to manage different priorities and be able to multi-task.\nWhy join Border to Coast?\nAt Border to Coast, you will receive competitive remuneration and have access to excellent benefits:\n * Vitality Health Insurance for all employees\n * Employee Assistance Programme\n * A generous holiday allowance of 30 days a year, plus bank holidays\n * Professional Development including the opportunity to gain fully funded qualifications (Executive Assistant Diploma)\n * Critical Illness Cover\n * Pension scheme\n * Stunning Leeds city centre location only a short walk to the train station\n * Cycle to work scheme\n * Life Assurance of 6 times of salary\n * Sustainable travel plans and public transport discounts\n * Range of discounts for Leeds gyms, shops and restaurants\n * Hybrid working\n * Onsite gym\nThere’s also more information about pay and reward, careers at Border to Coast and how we work on our website Careers - Border To Coast - Work With Us\nWe welcome applications from people of all experience levels and backgrounds and value diversity of thought.
