We are currently supporting various clients in the recruitment of a range of senior Director-level Asset Based Lending (ABL) roles across the UK, as they continue to scale high-growth, well-capitalised lending platforms with strong market momentum.
These are UK-wide positions that can be based anywhere in the country, offering genuine flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to play a key role in shaping established ABL strategies.
Our clients are seeking experienced senior leaders who want greater influence, stronger deal flow, and the ability to build high-performing origination functions within specialist lending environments.
Below are a couple of examples of the roles we are currently recruiting for:
Senior Business Development Director (ABL)
A senior origination role driving high-value ABL activity, structuring complex deals, and building strong introducer relationships across the market. This is a true “hunter” role with full autonomy and strategic influence.
Corporate Sales Director (ABL / Business Finance)
A senior client-facing role focused on origination, relationship management, and delivering tailored lending solutions in partnership with credit and underwriting teams.
What you’ll bring (both roles)
* Director-level experience in ABL or specialist commercial finance
* Strong ABL network of introducers and industry contacts
* Proven structuring skills across complex asset-backed transactions
* Strong track record of originating and closing deals (£200k–£70m+)
* Typically delivering 5–15+ funded transactions annually
* Commercial, self-starting, and comfortable operating autonomously
