Job Description
We’re now looking for a Deputy Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity. The Deputy Manager will work alongside the Manager to help with all areas of running the nursery, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations, building warm, trusting relationships with families, supporting staff, maintaining child safety and applying EYFS principles.

Your role
* Help with all operational functions of the nursery under the manager’s direction
* Build and maintain warm relationships with families and collaborate with external agencies
* Guide and support the nursery team, ensuring children’s safety and implementing EYFS in a fun, engaging, and regulatory‑compliant way
Qualifications
* Level 3 or higher UK recognised early years qualification
* Excellent understanding of EYFS
* Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children
* Leadership experience within a nursery setting
