As part of a joint venture with Anglian Water and the @one Alliance partnership, Skanska is seeking a Senior Buyer to join our infrastructure team in Peterborough where the partnership's mission is to improve and expand the Anglian Water network to ensure an efficient water supply for all their customers.
What you'll do:
* Implement and support the agreed portfolio & procurements strategies.
* Aggregate demand across both Water Recycling & Water programme areas.
* Evaluate procurement schedules to ensure all information is included for goods and services procurement.
* Conduct comprehensive CBAs and TBAs to select the appropriate supply chain partner.
* Support ECI implementation, promote innovation from the supply chain, and manage potential risks for timely delivery.
* Ensure that our H&S processes are implemented and verify that all subcontracts are completed and compliant with the NEC3 contract as agreed with the supply chain provider.
* Capture supply chain performance issues, provide updates and reports, and develop strategies for operational efficiency.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Knowledge of senior procurement / sourcing roles.
* An understanding of stakeholder management and team leadership.
