Join our global Communication & Marketing function as our External Communications Manager for Western Europe and APAC, communicating how Ramboll helps clients realize their goals while navigating the transition to a more sustainable future.
Your new role
As our External Communications Manager, you will support our ambition to become the partner for sustainable change for our clients and stakeholders. You will play a vital role in ensuring our global campaigns and priority topics land with impact across our region, focusing on themes like green energy transition, sustainable transport and buildings, resilient societies, and biodiversity. Responsibilities include planning and implementing content strategies (online and offline), developing localizations to resonate with regional audiences, and creating core content such as media releases, local value propositions, messaging, and event formats. Building strong relationships with key business leaders will provide insights into client agendas, supporting end-to-end marketing and sales efforts. You will collaborate with regional communication and marketing teams to execute plans and report on their effectiveness.
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Localize global campaigns and initiatives.
2. Curate localized content for regions including the UK & Ireland, Germany, and Asia Pacific.
3. Plan and execute channel strategies for external impact, ensuring compliance.
4. Explore client engagement opportunities to support work-winning efforts.
5. Build stakeholder relationships to support marketing and sales efforts.
6. Develop understanding of key accounts and clients to align content strategies.
7. Collaborate with regional colleagues and global marketing teams to align plans and gather insights.
8. Support research to understand regional audience preferences and behaviors.
9. Continuously improve campaign and content performance.
10. Ensure consistency with global brand messaging and objectives.
About you
* Proven experience in planning and delivering external campaigns and thought leadership across online and offline channels.
* Exceptional content writing and communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex agendas into effective communications.
* Proactive with an ambitious mindset, eager to explore new digital media and client engagement formats.
* Collaborative and inclusive team player.
* Relevant education or experience in PR, communication, marketing, or related fields.
* Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry is preferred.
* Experience working in complex matrix organizations is beneficial.
