Field Service Engineer - FLT and MHE
Location: Covering CB and IP Postcodes
Salary: £30,000 - £42,500 (Depending on Experience) + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
Job Role
I'm working with a market‑leading materials handling business that is looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area.
Responsibilities
* Fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Organise own workload and diary with autonomy
* Receive support from a strong technical back‑office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development
Requirements
* Hands‑on servicing or maintenance experience
* Maintenance experience of forklift trucks, mobile plant machinery, HGVs or industrial vehicles
* Hands‑on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics
* Recognised engineering qualification
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous work as a Field Service Engineer (desirable)
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in engineering (desirable)
