STREET BASED OUTREACH WORKER
20 hours per week – Starting Salary £14, % Pension Contribution
Cornerhouse (Yorkshire), is excited to recruit a passionate and committed individual to help shape the future of youth support in Hull through our dynamic Reach Out project, delivered in partnership with The Warren.

About the Role: As a Project Worker on Reach Out, you'll be at the heart of a city-wide street-based outreach initiative, connecting with young people in their own environments. You'll build trusted relationships, offer creative and trauma-informed support, and help reduce vulnerability to issues such as anti-social behaviour, substance misuse, sexual exploitation, and poor health outcomes.
Your work will directly contribute to:
* Empowering young people to make safer, healthier choices
* Strengthening community cohesion
* Creating inclusive spaces where young people feel seen, heard, and supported
What You'll Be Doing:
* Delivering 5 x 4-hour outreach shifts across Hull (afternoons and early evenings, Mon–Fri, with occasional Saturdays)
* Engaging young people in meaningful conversations and activities
* Signposting to relevant services and opportunities
* Continuously evaluating and improving the offer to ensure it remains responsive, inclusive, and impactful
